Randy Rogers
Program Director/Head Coach
Randy returns to WARP as Program Director/Head Coach after serving in that capacity when the Club was called WSP back in the 80's. Most club members know a bit about Randy due to his involvement on the Board of Directors or his role as a manager at Willamette Pass Resort. His coaching experience includes two years for WSP when he moved back to Eugene in 1988 to finish a Master's Degree from the UO in Excercise Science/Sport Psychology. He had a stint coaching the US Speed Skiing team from 1990 -1993 including serving as Head Coach for the 1992 Olympic team.
Randy has been a USSA Nationally Certified coach, attending the national coaches school in 1985 when he was program director for Meadows Race Team. In addition, he has 8 years experience coaching college ski teams. Lately, Randy has been continuing to stay connected with modern ski racing as an international ski official with the FIS.
He made his first turns at Willamette Pass way back in 1958, and still loves Willamette Pass as much as anywhere. He is excited to be back coaching kids from his hometown.

WARP racers will miss Jacque de Saint Phalle. But, with Jacques now coaching South Eugene's ski team we will hopefully see him on the slopes. Maybe even have some training sessions together. WARP will be interviewing additional coaches to assist with Juniors and our Club program.
