About WARP

Fun for those ages 7 - 77+

Willamette Alpine Race Program (WARP) is a community based, parent run ski & snowboard club at Willamette Pass Resort with a vision to be a resource for the youth and families in their pursuit of skiing and snowboarding as a lifetime activity.

Our club is a member of the Pacific Northwest Ski Association (PNSA) and the United States Ski & Snowboard Association (USSA) and reinforcing the Core Values of the USSA, Team, Loyalty, Integrity, Respect, Perseverance, and Accountability.

WARP is a non-profit organization. The club was formed in 1983 and has since helped 100's of kids achieve their skiing dreams. WARP racers have gone on to race NORAM races within the USSA program and compete in high school and college championships. Most WARP skiers are still enjoying the sport and sharing it with their friends and families.

Participation in our programs will

  • Enhance skiing and racing skills through structured training sessions, progressive drills, free skiing, and races;
  • Promote physical fitness;
  • Create lifelong enjoyment of skiing; and
  • Sustain lifelong pursuit of healthy outdoor activities.

WARP is not owned or operated by Willamette Pass Resort. It is an independent entity that enjoys the privilege of conducting its programs at the resort and is supported by the ski area with coaches passses, grooming services, storage facilities, trail closures for training and racing, and much more. Thank you Willamette Pass Resort!

WARP is governed by a body of annually elected Board of Directors who set policy in accordance with the organizations Bylaws. Operations and the day to day management of WARP rests with the organizations' Program Director. Participants in WARP's programs are required pay to an annual membership fee and, as members, are eligible to participate in certain programs and benefits. All full season members over the age of 18 are invited and encouraged to participate in Board Meetings and are eligible to serve on the board. See WARP Bylaws for more information on the governance of the organization.

Without the help of volunteers, WARP would not be where it is today. We encourage all families and parents to be actively involved with the club.
